Christmas Markets in Brunico

Besides the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the renowned Christmas markets are among the most vivid emblems of South Tyrol. With its festive atmosphere, Advent in Brunico starts at the end of November.

Ginger and vanilla scented aromas waft out from the wooden huts in the market as if to advertise: freshly baked sweets and biscuits! The intoxicating vin brulé or mulled wine, betrays the fragrance of cloves and cinnamon. Christmas decorations mimic pastel wooden colours glittering in gold adding to the spectacle!

The fairy tale atmosphere of the Christmas market, added to the excitement of the skating rink in the town square, concerts and an entertainment program is sure to please just about everyone.
